It’s time for kids to go back to school! That’s usually great for parents, not so much for the kids. For ecommerce retailers, it may mean dealing with a sales tax holiday. MassLive.com just reported that Massachusetts will be establishing a sales tax holiday on the weekend of August 15-16, 2015 . The law was passed on 7/29/15. According to the article, the holiday “would apply to items that cost less than $2,500, excluding some items like cars, restaurant meals and tobacco products.” No details on their website as of this writing.
